Once again, representatives of INLET SEAFISH returned to participate in the Seafood Expo Global in Brussels. An annual event that opened its doors again last April totalling 25 editions. It has become one of the most important appointments in the sector of seafood, fisheries and aquaculture worldwide.
The fair was held between 25th and 27th April and hosted 1,800 exhibiting companies from 79 countries that exhibited their products, services and seafood equipment in more than 38,350 square meters of space.
Year after year, this event offers an excellent opportunity for the international seafood community to meet and get news from the industry worldwide.
The exhibition brought together thousands of workers from all sectors of the fishing industry around the world. INLET, had a stand to meet with new and existing suppliers, learn about emerging trends and discuss the challenges and successes affecting the industry.
It is worth highlighting the intervention of our General Director, Eino Brand, in the colloquium that took place on the first day of the event. The exhibition discussed the current situation of the pangasius trade, where the Vietnamese government was urged to take measures to change the negative trend affecting the product.
At the end of the event, the INLET representatives agreed on the ability to narrow the distances with suppliers doing business at a meeting point like the one offered by the Seafood Expo Global.
