Once again, we took part in CFSE 2016 (China Fisheries & Seafood Expo) Exhibition held from 4th to 6th November in Qingdao (China), an event of great importance and relevance for professionals in the seafood sector and development and processing technology.
During the days that the fair was open to the public, there were many professionals who gathered to learn about the latest news and trends in the sector. Of those attending the fair, 29% were professionally dedicated to import, export and commercialization; Government entities attributed 13% of the participation, as did the fish farmers; 19% of the assistants were professionals in distribution and retail; processors and industrial sector represented 17% of the public; and 9% of the participants were fishing fleet operators.
Attendance at this fair offers us the possibility of visiting and arranging meetings with a large number of suppliers from China and the Asian-Pacific area, and in this way to strengthen business ties for future transactions. As a company we understand the event, not only as an export window at its origin, but also as a gateway to the Chinese market.
According to studies from the United Nation’s Food and Agricultural Organization, the consumption of seafood is increasing over the years, and it is a market that presents continuous growth. For this reason, participation in these types of events is mandatory as it allows one to keep abreast of the changes that occur in the sector, how it is evolving and where it is going. For 24 years now, offering the best product and customer service is one of our goals.
