After several months of negotiations, on 28th March an agreement was reached with the Japanese group Maruha Nichiro and the acquisition of 33’3% of the shareholding of Inlet Seafish, SL was signed. The participation has been made through their Dutch subsidiary Seafood Connection.
Over the last 25 years, Inlet Seafish has grown gradually having now become a reference point in the Spanish frozen seafood sector. Since 2010, the operation has been run from their headquarters in Parc Sagunt (Valencia), with the support of sales offices in Barcelona, Burgos, Madrid, Seville, Valencia, Portugal and Italy. We also have offices dedicated to the monitoring, inspection and purchase of products at source in Cochin (India), Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam), Reykavik (Iceland) and Shanghai (China).
This agreement will allow the company to connect to the large Maruha Nichiro network of suppliers, which has 187 companies around the world.
